EVA Soles
What makes shoes flexible, resistant to wear, tear, and water, and incredibly comfortable? EVA soles!
What EVA is
EVA is the acronym for ethylene-vinyl acetate, a copolymer derived from ethylene and vinyl acetate. EVA’s most distinctive qualities are that it is similar to rubber but softer, much more flexible and shock-absorbent, and resistant to weathering.
EVA soles are:
- flexible
- lightweight
- shock-absorbent
- water-resistant
- durable
What makes EVA unique
EVA stands out among all other durable materials used to make soles because it is resistant but, at once, featherlight. Thanks to its shock-absorbing qualities, EVA relieves pressure and softens the impact of your feet on the ground, ensuring optimal comfort and a springy step regardless of where you’re walking. EVA soles are extremely versatile and can be used for all types of footwear, from running shoes to sandals.
